THE BET/MIT CLUB OBJECTIVES:
- To assist the Biomedical Equipment and Medical Imaging Technician in obtaining a professional status.
- To promote interest in the Biomedical Equipment and Medical Imaging Technology program.
- To provide a liaison between the students, school administration, healthcare industries, and our professional community.
- To promote the fellowship and well being of the members of our organization

CLUB HISTORY
The Biomedical Equipment and Medical Imaging Technologies Club was established
in the early 1970s to provide a forum for students in these technologies to share ideas and participate in goal oriented activities.
Over the years the club has played a major role in making a connection between academic studies and real world applications. Here are but a few ways the club benefits its members:
- Field trips to various health care institutions.
- Guest speakers from the Biomedical Industry including graduates from our
own technology programs.
- Scheduled Club meetings each month.
- Study groups, tutoring and various workshop opportunities.
- Special Event, Community and volunteer opportunities.
- Meet and associate with other students and individuals within your career field.
- Benefit from the experience and knowledge of those further in the Biomedical Technologies programs. These individuals can assist you with a number of topics, such as: course and instructor selections,study materials and
resources. We strongly recommend working closely with your
advisor throughout your enrollment at TSTC Waco.
Club members are exposed to a wealth of information and
experience that can only be provided in this type of atmosphere.
We encourage all Biomedical and Imaging tech students to
attend one of our meetings or special events.

Club dues are only $10.00 per semester with lunch
provide for meetings that fall on the first Wednesday of
the month. So come and enjoy all the benefits that
membership has to offer.
